Governor John Lynch together with members of the New Hampshire Arborists Association celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2008, by planting a tree with Concord area children at the Bridges House, the Governor's official residence. Governor Lynch was joined by children from the Concord Boys & Girls Club and the Eastside Learning Center. The native tree, a red maple, was a gift to the State of New Hampshire donated by the New Hampshire Arborists Association.
